Exciting Weekend!

Whoo Hoo!  We have officially accepted an offer on our house as of this evening.  Our realtor held all offers until tonight and we had several to choose from.  This particular couple looked at it just 2 hours after it was put on the MLS.  Now we just have to get through the inspection and appraisal.   This is all so nerve-wracking.

One fun thing Dennis did this weekend?

He upgraded the toilet in the RV we’ll be living in for a couple of years.  It’s amazing how much nice it is.  Who would have thought a toilet could be so nice? lol

There were lots of amazing fireworks around the lake that we were able to enjoy from the wonderful social distancing safe spot of our own RV spot. Others in the resort we’re not being so smart. There were literally hundreds of people on the beach watching the fireworks that were set off around the lake. I can only imagine the thousands of dollars that went up in smoke last night. And I can also only imagine the number of COVID-19 cases that will be popping up in two weeks. After watching the news tonight for the first time in almost a week, to say this is terrifying to me would be an understatement. When will this all end?

To end this post on a positive note, I’ll leave a picture of my beautiful Miss Piper. She always cheers me up and is very excited Papa and Grandma will be moving closer to her before too much longer.

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend too and are staying nice and safe.

Much love and Blessings,
Betsy

It seems the Lord faithful and true has a new path for us to walk. 3. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only woman who gets all happy about a new toilet! Shortly after Mr. K and I got married, 7 years ago, he surprised me with a new toilet for our powder room who's claim to fame was that you could flush a half bucket of golf balls without clogging. I was thrilled until I realized that they neighbors could hear me flush! Enjoy that new toilet!

  4. Congratulations on your house sale! WOW, that was fast!!! Has it even been a week since you decided to sell? I'm sure the inspection will go smoothly. Time for you to relax my friend! Piper's dress is so cute.

  5. Congrats!!! That sure was fast. It took son almost a year to sell his house in Michigan. He went to settlement last week. He sent photos of what it looked like with masks and social distancing. I had to laugh as they were all out in a long hallway.
Piper is so sweet. I bet you can't wait!

  6. That is the 2nd time I have read this verse this morning. It means so much to me because there are two things ahead of us this week that are SO disturbing and have been hanging over my head and causing so much dread. I know God has already gone before us and will take care of us like He always has. Praise His name! CONGRATULATIONS on the sale of your house!! That is SOOOO fast! Wow! God's hand is surely over you all, and He is working all things together for your good. I am so thankful you were able to get a permanent toilet. That is one of the things that has been so deterring about the tiny homes and RV living, and it is always a huge plus when we see that it has a "real" toilet! LOL! So thankful you had a wonderful 4th. May the Lord bless you as you continue to press forward in your move!

  8. That's good to read of a few offers on tour house. Sweet! Hope all the things in between go well. I wouldn't mind having new toilets in our house. 30 years same ones except seats. Glad you got to see fireworks too. Some good ones from dragstrip close to us and possibly from a park. Moon was pretty too. Piper is pretty in that dress she's wearing. Hugs and prayers my friend!!๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŒน X------×

  9. The speed of the sale confirms this was the right decision for you and Dennis. I’m happy for you. I’m still worshipping at home as I watch the service online. More and more people have returned to worship in person, and not one mask which makes me nervous. I’d go to church if masks were worn by everyone, but not now.

  10. Congrats on the offer and also the new toilet! I just stay home and don't worry about anything...we need to be careful and be responsible but after that it's out of our hands. I'd rather the Lord take me than some young person but that's not my decision to make.
As for that Candy Kisses Scarf. Do me a favor before you buy your yarn...check out the instructions and try them. Maybe you can help me as I have tried 5 times to start this scarf and watched the video several times and I am still have troubles with it! So frustrating especially when all the comments say how easy it is and how clear the instructions are! What is wrong with me? I think it's the "corner" stitch where she increases and why she calls it a corner I don't know. I would call it the middle. I found her instructions really confusing. H E L P! LOL!

  11. I'm very happy for you and hope everything go smoothly. Our country is in big trouble, I don't like watching the news either.
    God bless you sweet friend.

  12. I am celebrating the sale of your house with you! So glad you enjoyed the fireworks. I stayed snug in bed listening to the racket outside ๐Ÿ˜ŠThanks for letting us enjoy seeing pretty Miss Piper and for sharing the encouraging verse. He is Faithful always. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ

  13. *C*O*N*G*R*A*T*U*L*A*T*I*O*N*S*!* on the sale! That was fastest from deciding to sell to sale I've ever seen. What a wonderful adventure you have ahead of you, to finally be able to live close to your daughter and Piper. I can even see you buying a house across the street or next door. LOL! I just hope you can make the move fast now that you've decided where you want to land. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  14. Great news that your house was snapped up so fast. Your new adventure begins.
I can understand your joy at a new toilet. One of the things I didn't like about our camperized van was the toilet.

  15. Well that was fast!! Congratulations!! Hope all goes well with the inspection and appraisal! Your Piper is so cute...that dress is just perfect so very cute!

Good to hear you are staying safe. We are too...I don't listen to the news very often it is so depressing. When will it end? I don't think anytime soon...God is incharge and knows what he is doing:)

  16. Piper is beautiful! You are lucky to be moving closer to her. Mine are on the opposite coast of this country. I can't understand how people think they're immune to this virus. It only prolongs this "first wave" and it punishes all of us.

  17. I'm so glad for you!!!! Now, I hope all the paperwork goes well, too. A man at my mom's church had a heart attack--they tested him for C-19 and it was positive--he has no symptoms, has had no symptoms and is just miserable that he might have unknowingly passed on this virus to people! Until more is known, caution is recommended! It's the little things, like toilets , that can make our day! Ha!
