Floors

Sorry I haven’t posted. Life is in an upheaval right now. Staying at Mom’s is an adventure with not a lot of time to post. Here is where we are with the floor this morning.

Everything is sanded.

Even the stairs.

Stain is down now too, but I don’t have a picture of that. The varnish is supposed to be today.

I’ll be back soon! We went to the zoo with Piper Saturday and I have some fun pictures to share with you.

Blessings and love,
Betsy

  1. Floors are no fun that's for sure. You're so lucky you had another house to go to. We had to hide in the basement from the dust and the fumes and I will NEVER do that again. At least your finishers are doing a good job. The Mister hired the son of a friend and he did a terrible job.

  6. I am thrilled that you are sanding down the original floors instead of buying the new stuff, it never measures up to real soils hardwood. You are going to love the results. I know it's a mess and very time consuming, Steve and I rented a sander and did that to our old house. Of course we were young back then when we did it ourselves. When your floors are done they are going to be gorgeous.
