Leaving Helena

We left Helena this morning and have about 150 miles left before arriving “home” in Spokane. Here are a few photos that I took this morning as we are driving. Montana is gorgeous.

Our home away from home. The lived in look!😍

Dennis and our son Jamie at dinner last night at “The Grubstake.” Great food, but an even better time. We miss this kid. He may be 40 with his next birthday but he’s still my baby. This Mama sure hung on tight to him with every hug. And he got several.

Zoey helps Dennis drive from her car seat but likes to nap on my lap.

We had a wonderful time visiting with our son and grandchildren while in Helena and are looking forward to seeing everyone in Spokane. Sorry I haven’t been commenting on blogs. I can’t use my phone or iPad for commenting so it has been difficult. I am reading your blogs though. I’ll be back soon.💜

Blessings and hugs,
Betsy

  4. Awwww......your son reminds me a lot of my oldest son and I haven't seen him since October and that was just for a short visit. Little did I know that it would turn into a year of drama with Covid and mites that would keep us apart for again for so long. There just aren't enough hugs to go around these days.
I love your trailer. It reminds me of my mom who loved her trailer more than anything. Even though she had a beautiful beach house, she preferred her trailer to anywhere else.

  5. I'm glad you're having a good trip and hopefully it keeps right on going well. It must have been wonderful to see your son and the grands.Montana is so beautiful. We drove that very road on several trips and never failed to enjoy the scenery. Somehow we even managed to have good weather too ( we used to take any longer trips in September

  6. Love your home away from home. I can't wait until we can get out in ours, although it is much smaller than yours! Being far away from our peeps really rots. We are headed to see our Virginia peeps in a couple of weeks and I can't wait for those hugs!

  7. I'm glad you had a blessed time with your son and family. It's been hot today and more so when shopping at Eddie Bauer after work today. A/C quit working last week and I was quite warm I'm trying on some pants. Semi warm in one area of dining room at Panera this afternoon. Take care and thanks for sharing Montana photos 📸. Blessings, Becky

  13. Wow! I love your RV, Betsy. It's so beautiful. Zoey is looking intently, isn't she? I'd like to visit Montana some day. A friend came back last week from a week there and she loved it. Glad you could have time with your son and his family. So important to be with our kids. I read through Galatians this week, so I enjoyed your scripture very much. Hugs.
