Dennis and I both wish you a very Merry Christmas! We woke up to another unpredicted snowfall so we have a white Christmas after all!
The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those one who his favor rests.” Luke to 10-14
Blessings,
Betsy
Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! It's been too long since we've had a white Christmas around here. It was 2009 and that was just leftover snow from our once in a lifetime Snowpocalypse. It seems like fall just likes to take its sweet time getting here and then it just hangs around until spring anymore. I'll have to borrow some of your Christmas spirit this year!
ReplyDeleteLucky you with the snow! You would have loved it here....70 F...I took a walk down by the lake and thought of you. We could trade places but then I would REALLY be far from my kids! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I was hoping for a white Christmas but we have a wet Christmas instead. I hope your Christmas is joyous!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it was a very Merry Christmas and a white one, too!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful day Betsy.
ReplyDeleteChristmas snow is very special. We had hoped for a few flakes at least but so far none have fallen. I hope you had a good day yesterday and that the rest of the week is relaxing. My relaxing will have to wait for tomorrow because in 2 hours the entire clan will be coming over ( from 18 to 20 people)/ I do not even have that many chairs!! Our family keeps growing it seems.
ReplyDeleteIt felt like it could snow here but we just got a little rain. Hope you are warm and cozy and able knit.
ReplyDelete((hugs))
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I feel like it went by so fast, and I miss it already. So thankful for all of God's blessings, though and pressing forward. God bless you, Betsy!
ReplyDeleteBetsy, Beautiful snowy tree. May God Bless you with a wonderful New Year. Happy Christmas. Al left yesterday and I cried and sobbed. My friend left this morning. We had a great day today with Zach. He leaves on Saturday. So an emotional weekend ahead. No matter how I try. I cry. My Uncle said to me tonight; YOU ARE A MOTHER YOUARE SUPPOSED TO CRY. I hope to keep in touch with my father's brother. HE is a good guy.
ReplyDeleteNice snowy Christmas and hope it doesn't get too deep into the next decade my friend. We had a stay at home day which was just fine. I shared a few photos last nite on FB about food and a fun gift that Phil made me. Hope to blog post soon. Chilly day here. Hugs my friend!!
ReplyDeleteBelated Merry Christmas! No snow here. Warmest on record I think! Enjoyed the week with all our family together but need to recover now! Nancy
