I thought I would share with you a picture of a beautiful rose I cut from my rosebush last night. Dennis said it reminds him of the rose on Beauty and the Beast.
That’s it for today. I have gotten virtually no knitting or crocheting done for the last two days. I cleaned the camper top to bottom before I left yesterday, and we worked in the yard all evening. This morning I had two doctors appointments where I did knit on the leg of a sock. I hope you’re all having a lovely Wednesday.
My back is still doing fabulously! I want to thank you all so much for your prayers. They are working. Please keep them coming.
“Let us then approach God‘s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
What a beautiful rose Betsy! So glad your back continues to feel good! Such a blessing.ReplyDelete
Did you see that idea on Pinterest where you can root new roses by sticking it in a potato? I don't know if it works but if i could get a great scented rose I would try it! Your's is gorgeous...I've never seen Beauty and the Beast so I have nothing to compare it to.ReplyDelete
I am so happy to hear about your back! whatever you're doing...keep it up and we'll keep the prayers going too! I am so happy for you especially at the beginning of summer! You go girl!
What a perfect verse! Thanks for sharing it. I am thanking the Lord your back is feeling so much better! I handed out about five Shell Burial Wrap patterns to prolific crocheting ladies this morning. If they make some, may I send them to you to pass along to the hospital? xxxxReplyDelete
I'm with Vera and Sam.. I'm glad to hear your back is not hurting you.. just don't overdo it and strain it, my friend! Your rose is lovely! I'm sure enjoying mine that are in bloom. Mine are also highly scented. I'm glad to see the two little sheep I sent to you being loved and displayed by you. I just got home from swimming, so I'm beat. LOL! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)ReplyDelete
Happy to hear that your back is MUCH better!ReplyDelete
That rose IS a beauty! A little sock knitting is better than no knitting but don't overdo it just because you are feeling better!!!!ReplyDelete
Hallelujah for your back!! Woo-hoo! 🙌 We will continue to pray this relief and healing stays with you! 🙏ReplyDelete
A single rose, so absolutely beautiful just by itself! 🌹 And I love your kitchen! Blessings! ♥
I will keep praying ! Love your rose and I didn't knit a stitch today. I NEED to knit.....tomorrowReplyDelete
Hi dear Betsy so glad.ReplyDelete
Continuing to pray.. my fav deep red fragrant roses are Oklahoma or Mr Lincoln. Both highly recommended as is Double Delight a bicolour hybrid tea. Yours is beautiful. I've 3 dozen bushes. 2 Oklahoma and 3 Mr Lincoln. Another good red is Firefighter a cross between Papa Milan and Mr Lincoln. Here in Oz it raises money for firefighters ... a great idea.
Your rose is beautiful. I need to cut some roses from our rose bushes. Your rose does remind me of Beauty and the Beast. Have a great day!ReplyDelete
Oh I forgot, I'm happy your back is doing great. Praise the Lord for that!ReplyDelete
I am thrilled you are still feeling good, long may that last. Love the rose Betsy it does look a little like the one from the Beauty and the Beast.ReplyDelete
Oh, praise the Lord that your back is still doing so well! So thankful you were able to clean and do the things you so enjoy and long to do. That rose is just gorgeous. Your husband is right, it does look like that rose. So sweet to visit with you today, dear friend. Much love to you.ReplyDelete
Glad to hear the back is still going great.ReplyDelete
I have such a dilemma ---cut the roses and bring them in OR enjoy them on the bush. Oh my ..........what to do. LOL (So far, I've left them on the bush, but a bud sure would look nice in my vase once they get going.)
Truly a lovely rose. Flowers always make me smile. Praising God that your back is still doing good. Sending prayers sweet friend. ((hugs)). Blessings alwaysReplyDelete
Lovely rose! I have a nice rose bush out front that's still blooming well. Two newer ones still getting there but in pots I need to transplant. PTL that your back is feeling so much better. Do overdo!!😁 Routine eye appt today and some shopping. Ordered spray bottles, roller bottles and foaming hand soap bottles for essential oil events I'm planning for a few months. Better to order all together and free shipping! Stock up! Take care my friend!!!💜ReplyDelete
I am loving your sheep collection, so cute. Great news about your back! Hooray!ReplyDelete
Pretty rose and cute little menagerie. Glad to hear your back is feeling fine. We saw so many beautiful roses in the country of Georgia. Will post about them sometime soon. Take care, TammyReplyDelete
