I’m sure glad I was done with all of my Christmas things before this happened. we are missing all of the fun things here at the apartment building and we had paid for a rather expensive light tour on Sunday night that I’m sure there’s no way we’ll be going to now. I shall be back when I can. Take care and treat yourself kindly.
Meanwhile, here are a few of the decorations that I put up last week.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
Rest and have you contacted your doctor for the special med you can take to make the symptoms less. Take care
ReplyDeleteI love the crocheted circle under the Nativity. Did you do that?
ReplyDeleteGet well soon.
Yes I did. I’ll try to get a better photo when I have more energy. Thank you.
DeleteSending prayers for you both sweet friend. Hope you both get well soon. ((hugs)). :)
ReplyDeleteNO PUEDE SER BETSY, CUANTO LAMENTO OIR ESTO. ORARE AL SEÑOR PARA QUE LO LLEVEN LO MEJOR POSIBLE SIN COMPLICACIONES, ASI TUVIMOS MI ESPOSO Y YO, EN ENERO DE ESTE AÑO, DIOS LOS PROTEJA. BENDICIONES Y FELIZ AÑO 2023.
ReplyDeleteIT CAN'T BE BETSY, I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS. I WILL PRAY TO THE LORD THAT YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS AS WELL AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT COMPLICATIONS, SO WE HAD MY HUSBAND AND I, IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR, GOD PROTECT YOU. BLESSINGS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023.
DeleteRest plenty and take care of yourselves.
ReplyDeleteRest and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, no....I heard that the BQ strain is the one going around and the vaccines aren't up to par on protection against them-not even the new Bivalent one I just got. Another holiday season and we still have to worry about Covid. I can't believe it. I am so sorry it managed to find you. I hope you are up and over it by the holiday. I know how much it means to you. I've got my fingers crossed that all my exposure to Daughter and SIL this weekend didn't up end all my holiday plans. They do mask because of the baby but SIL just got off a plane from Florida last night after a week of maskless business meetings. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteAll your decorations are so pretty. I'm so very sorry you caught the nasty Covid bug. Hopefully the yucky feeling will not last long. DH and I felt sick for 2 days then it passed quickly. It might have been a different strain though. ( He was vaccinated and I was not yet we both got it and felt the same. Makes you wonder....)
ReplyDeleteOh, my friend. I am so sorry you are sick with Covid. Take it slowly, and let your body rest. The exhaustion hangs on. Your Christmas home looks festive and cozy! Snuggle in there and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteUgh. So sorry you both came down with covid! I will add you to my prayers and hope that you have a mild case of it.
ReplyDeletePeace,
Aimee
All your decorations look great! Glad you had a chance to put them up before you both got sick. Oh so sorry to hear you're sick. What a bummer for you both. Praying that you won't be too sick and will feel better fast! We have a Legion Christmas Party to attend tomorrow night...I'm hoping (praying) there won't be too many bugs floating around there. It's that time of the year! Merry Christmas and get well very soon! God Bless You Both.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that you have tested positive for Covid. I just learned that my brother and sister in law in NC also have it. I was very sick over Thanksgiving and for two weeks, but tested negative for Covid and positive for flu. Symptoms are very much the same. Please just rest and take care of yourselves, and if you aren't really feeling better soon, be sure to talk to Dr. about what you can take for it. Praying for you now. Your home looks lovely and festive. Just relax now and get well. God bless you dear friend.
ReplyDeleteSince I have no confidence in any of the 'vaccinations'...But I am so sorry you and Dennis are sick! I will add you to my hourly prayers; Your home is beautiful. Rest a lot--take care of each other!
ReplyDeleteYou home looks so beautiful with all the decorations. I hope you both feel better very quickly!
ReplyDeleteSorry that both you and Dennis are not feeling well now but will soon. Pray 🙏 for you. Hopefully you can use YL essential oils in your diffuser as I use thieves, raven or r.c. and lemon in my diffusers when being sick. I like aroma of it. Your Christmas 🎄 decorations are beautiful. I need to get mine finished. More tomorrow as I'm going down to Albany to help clean my brother's apartment. Virtual hugs my friend. ❄️ ☃️ .
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better soon. At the very least, the vaccinations will make it milder than it otherwise would have been. Sending lots of healing thoughts!
ReplyDeleteIt's Sunday. Just thinking of you guys, and hoping you're starting to feel a little better! Prayers going up for you both! Take Care.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you two are sick, Betsy. Do take care of yourselves. Drink plenty of liquids and rest. Your home looks so festive. I love the french door leading to the balcony! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteCovid, boo hiss. . . will it ever leave us alone? So sorry you have it, hope it's a mild case and you and hubby recover quickly. Your Christmas decorations are so pretty, especially love the pillows!
ReplyDeleteOh my! You have really had a time of it! I'm so sorry you are ill. Please take very good care of yourselves! Do you wear a mask when you go out? I do, and I am sure I will be wearing one in my coffin too! LOL! I will pray for you both.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better Betsy and on the mend!!
ReplyDeleteYour house looks lovely! Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteI hope you both are feeling better. Your new home looks cozy.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that you're ill . . . stay in, stay warm, get rest and double up on vitamin C.
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying for you both. God bless you.
