Karen is now in ICU and doing as well as can be expected. Her husband is staying with her all night while I brought Mom home to get some rest. Karen's heart is weaker than they thought and we don't know what the future has in store, but she was awake before we left. It's so hard to see someone like that with all the tubes, etc.
We would appreciate continued prayers for her recovery.
And now my friends, I'm off to bed. We need to be back at the hospital bright and early tomorrow,
Blessings,
Betsy
I will be praying for your sis and all of you too.

ReplyDeleteContinued prayers and positive thoughts for Karen.
ReplyDeleteDear Betsy, I am just now getting caught up on your blog. Had to read back a ways to figure out what is wrong with Karen and what happened when you hit your head. Gosh, I am glad to know that you are much better and able to be there for your MIL. Karen is so young to be having bypass. We just never know. My dad had it when he was 45 which is why he always told me to check my cholesterol, etc. Heart disease runs in his side of the family. All of his brothers and sisters had heart surgery except one. Sending healing wishes to Karen.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing all the beautiful crochet and embroidery and everything you else made for your mom. They certainly are more than just humble gifts. They are absolutely incredible and beautiful and made with love.
Sending big hugs your way. Take care, Tammy
Bless your heart Betsy, you are all in my positive thoughts and prayers.
