Again…

Well, I have disappeared again for the last three days. I’m sick again. And this time it’s Covid. I think I might have  gotten it at the assisted living where Mom is. Dennis says they have a sign up now that Covid is in the building. He tested too and so far he’s okay. I’ve been running a fever of between 101 and 103F since Tuesday night. Sorry to you all. I had just told you I was back and now I’m gone again. I’ll be back when I’m feeling better, but this stuff is not fun.
Take care and stay well,
Betsy

  7. I'm so sorry Betsy!!! I know it is making the rounds again everywhere. Older people near me are getting quite sick with it, lots of people from nursing homes are going to the hospital. One friend got it again but was just really tired. Then I heard from relatives in a southern state where one who is a hospital worker brought it home and they have been quite ill, but managed to stay home and be miserable.
I am so sad this happened to you.

  8. I'm so sorry you got covid and are feeling awful. I've had it twice now but neither time did it last more than 3 or 4 days. I hope yours is also short and soon you'll feel better.

  18. So sorry to hear you are ill with Covid! I don't go out much but when I do I wear a mask...still and always. My doctor works next door to the hospital and he said they have a lot of Covid patients. They stopped publishing and tracking Covid patients but it is still out there. I hope you heal quickly and have no ramifications from it.

  21. I was just sick for a couple of weeks thanks to my husband. Don't know if it was covid because no one does testing here anymore, but while he only had throat mucous, my symptoms were much worse and there were a few days when I'd climb into bed and be there for 11 hours. I never do that. i took some cold and flu medicine and that finally helped me to kick it. Hope your symptoms are short-lived and you will be feeling much better very soon. Take care.
