Pammy Sue at her blog named "Scotty's Place" over on my sidebar, (I don't know how to do that fancy linking thingy,) asked me to do a test crochet on her rose potholder pattern. She is planning to post the pattern on her blog tomorrow. Hurry over to get a copy. Pammy Sue is a great pattern writer. It was wellwritten and easy, peasy to follow. Here's the finished product. I did a few extra rounds with red instead of white on the back because I ran out of white here at the lake.
The front
The back. The pattern called for white all the way up to the green but I did the aforementioned red instead. You can make this beautiful pattern any color combo you like.
Thanks Pammy Sue for trusting me with your pattern. It was lots of fun. And now, after that brief intermission, it's back to the runner.
Blessings,
Betsy
How beautiful my dear friend !
ReplyDeleteOh that is so very pretty. I do not think I could ever use it!!
ReplyDeleteYou need to click on the blue Link at the top, when you are composing a post. Then you need to open a different tab, so you can go to the website you want to link to. Once you have the website show up, copy the address from the search bar up top. Go back to your post and paste this address into the window that popped up. Not sure if this is clear. I am sorry. I am not very good with computers, but this is easy once you know how. Let me know if I can help you more please.
Too cute, you did a fab job! I'll go check it out. Have fun at the lake
ReplyDeleteThis Betsy (ME) has no creative talents like you do!!!!!! I love the pot holder --but would never use that beauty as a pot holder.. It needs to be displayed somewhere.... Great job, Betsy.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Oh it looks awesome! I love the red and white together with the green trim. :) Blessings always sweet friend. :)
ReplyDeleteYou made that so fast! It looks beautiful. You did a wonderful job. I kind of like the extra red on the back. My hubby and I both laughed when I read out loud that I was a good pattern-writer. Hahaha! If you only knew how I struggled and how many times I screwed it up. But finally it is done! Thank you so much for making it.
ReplyDeleteLooks good and a perfect pattern for this time of the year when the roses are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Aimee
