Camping!!!

Guess where I am?
Isn't it beautiful?

Can you see the ducks?
I would love to own a cabin like this.  They have a view looking right at the lake.
Here is the view out our back window.
Comfy sofa with warm blankets to cover up with & drink hot chocolate or tea.
This is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.
My new little shelf with baskets from Hobby Lobby.  It fits perfectly and holds yarn.  I need lots of yarn storage.   :-)
A closer view. One of the doilies I made last week is on top.
This is one of my very favorite pictures of our kids. Jamie picking up his sister, Mandy.  Brad & Alex laughing about something.  I love how they all love each other and enjoy our very few moments when we can all be together.
Hubby & I are staying in the trailer tonight for the first time this year.  It's so quiet here.  We watched two bald eagles circling over the lake this afternoon but I couldn't get to my camera fast enough.  They were so majestic and beautiful.  Have a wonderful evening my friends. I'm going to spend the evening catching up on the week with my handsome Hubby.

Bleesings,
Betsy

"But they that mount up on wings like eagles will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint."  Isaiah 40:31

  2. Oh boy, sleeping in your caravan at the lake.. awesome!! Love your little basket shelves full of yarn. I'm here in Ohio for a few more days and then fly out early on Tuesday. It's been great but I'm missing home. Hope to see you soon. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  4. lovely lakeside stay for you this weekend. How fun and enjoy it! Where is a Hobby Lobby on the west coast? I didn't think we had one here. I was looking at yarn yesterday at Tuesday Morning store when I was in Salem. I almost bought some but remembered I needed to use my stash first since I've been negligent about knitting!

  5. I was eager to see this post Betsy! Oh the beauty of a mountain lake. I know exactly what you feel when you are there, because I so love to be at our lake. I would say your view is pretty darn good from your RV!!!!! And the shelving with baskets is just perfect! You can fit a lot of yarn in those drawers. It kind of reminded me of the one I got at Goodwill a while ago. Your RV looks so cozy! I would love to buy a trailer! One day...one day..... Enjoy your time at the lake!!!! And oh, the bald eagles...yes they are a sight to behold!!!

  11. Gosh, it is so beautiful there....I bet when it's quiet and the wind blows through the trees, you feel closer to God...at least I always do when I am in nature. I always thank Him for the beauty He has created for all of us to share. He is so awesome!

I just know you will have a most lovely weekend there.....and I love how you have everything decorated....and that you have your yarn nearby....very important!

Lovely doily that you made, too. I think doilies really make a house look like a home....same goes for the hand made blankets, too. So cozy and warm.

Blessing to you always sweet friend.
