Goodbye our sweet Chloe girl. Our hearts are broken and I don’t think I’m ever going to stop crying. Chloe had a stroke during the night and we had to let her go this morning. I think Dennis is taking it harder than I am. She was seriously the best dog I’ve ever met. We had her seven months before we ever heard her bark. I never heard her growl or be mean toward anyone. We were always known by everyone as “Chloe‘s parents.” My heart hurts. As a rescue dog, I think she knew how big and mean the world could be and she was always grateful for everything we did for her. She showed it by loving us right back with everything she had in her.
Hug your fur babies a little closer and give them big kisses for me. You never know what’s going to happen.

I don't care how old they are or how long they've been with you or what a good life you gave them the grief is real and so terribly hard to bear. I know your strong faith will give you comfort. You are in my thoughts tonight as is your sweet girl.

ReplyDeleteSad. I liked Chloe when I saw her a few years ago. I'll hug a stuffed bunny as I don't have a pet. It's no fun losing an animal. Been there years ago. Hugs and prayers and hopefully your mom in Omaha is doing better too. 💜🌈🙏

ReplyDeleteI think Chloe knew you were going to be moving soon. God chose to have her live with him because he knew the move would be tough on her. I'm cuddling with my Missy. If was in Washington I'd bring her to you so you could cuddle. She is my 3 year old toy poodle that I rescued about a month ago. She is so much like Buffy that passed away last year its scary. I swear some times Missy was Buffys daughter. but not possible Buffy was spayed at 6 months old.
I'm working to get Missy trained so she can be a certified Therapy dog. hopefullu she will pass the test in early may.
Dearest Betsy. I am so sad for you... first Grandma not well then dear precious Chloe.

Very very sorry to hear you have lost your adorable companion. There are no half measures with the love that they freely give us and it is tremendously hard when they have to go. She had a wonderful life with you both...so sad for you. Amanda xx
