I'm glad ms. Piper was happy and did well in the plane. Hope everything continues to go well and that you enjoy your time with them. If they had to move far from you they are at least in a wonderful location. My oldest son's home is about six blocks from the bay in Bayside, NY, and I love the location although it is much more of a city environment than where Brad and Mandy and Piper are. Hope that the rest of your stay is successful in helping Brad, Mandy, and Piper settling in and making more loving memories. Blessings. xxGracie Saylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09499163425742659172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8162150278449660664.post-62662677567893738552014-11-09T01:56:51.037-06:002014-11-09T01:56:51.037-06:00So happy to hear that you have all arrived safely....So happy to hear that you have all arrived safely. BUT--hopefully, you'll get to visit often!!!!!!

I love new homes --but had never heard of them not painting the walls. I guess they think that most people will want to choose their own colors..???? Can you all hire someone to come in and do the painting????

I remember once when I moved into a new home, I had to buy all of the curtain rods/blinds, etc... Fun fun!!!!!!

Well--don't work too hard... Just keep on enjoying that precious granddaughter for a little while longer.

Hugs,
Betsy--from Tennessee!!!!!Betsy Banks Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223591156634767330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8162150278449660664.post-48492090561975736872014-11-03T22:11:47.511-06:002014-11-03T22:11:47.511-06:00Betsy, what an ordeal for you all to get to DC! I hope you can get a painter to do it - I'd be contacting the builder and give him a bit of a rant. I love the design of the house and that gorgeous beach and river so close! I do hope you get to go see some of the DC sights. I hope we get to see you when you get back and rest up.
