She is having testing required by medicare, 2 tests on the right and 2 on the left where they inject some novacaine to see if an ablation will work on her pain, so far the right side will be helped. The Doc says she has pain from the osteoarthritis in her back. She cannot sleep or stay in bed for more than a couple of hours. The ablation will block the pain signal...and it may last 9 months to a couple of years.
Just thought I would share that info with you.
Some people take their Geraniums out of the soil, and put them in a paper bag for the winter in a dry cool place...my Mom puts most of hers in pots in a heated garage:) WE have the same kind of cold here in is 3 above F now:(Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8162150278449660664.post-50688417765510435322018-11-09T00:24:18.895-06:002018-11-09T00:24:18.895-06:00We had a chilly night Wednesday and thankful I had...We had a chilly night Wednesday and thankful I had my crocheted hat in the car as I put it on after I got off work..BBBRRR! Chilly tonight as well but a nice looking day outside. I need to get my crocus bulbs planted this weekend and pull in a few plants into the garage, especially the cannas as they can live over to spring inside. It was fun to talk with Alex on face time when we were there visiting. Glad he's doing well and having fun travelling too. Hope you are well enough to travel soon! Don't water them all winter. In spring you pull them outside, pluck off all the dead stuff, water them and see what happens. Our begonias die back to nothing and come back. Our geraniums die back to stubs and come back. It's worth a try!! I'm thinking your son should add you to his travel schedule. Tell him I said so. LOL! I've never had good luck over-wintering geraniums. They go into shock and it takes forever for them to bounce back.
